This submission form is intended for recognized, curated, or juried contemporary craft* exhibitions featuring Atlantic Canadian artists or works.

Craft Portfolio is a showcase of contemporary fine craft shown within solo and group exhibitions where Atlantic Candian artists are profiled. The project was launched in 2024 with Craft Alliance Atlantic Association’s inaugural exhibition at the Collect Art Fair in London, UK. The purpose of the online showcase and exhibition is to raise the profile of contemporary fine craft from the Atlantic Canadian regions of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

Craft Portfolio is a project of the Craft Alliance Atlantic Association, a Canadian-based not for profit organization. Part of the Craft Alliance’s mandate is to provide marketing opportunities for craft producers in the Atlantic Provinces. This includes offering opportunities for educational missions, trade shows & exhibitions, and export opportunities at craft and giftware events across North America and beyond.

*Contemporary Craft is defined as the skilled, intentional, and often innovative creation of objects using traditional materials( such as but not limited to ceramics, wood, glass, textiles, and metal) or a modern combination of materials, characterized by a focus on technique and a hybrid approach that blends functionality with artistic expression. It is characterized by makers testing the limits of material and technique, often blurring the lines between art, design, and functional craft.
